I am a Product Owner with a UX heart and love bringing technical, psychological and commercial together. In all development it is the end user you have to keep in mind, because eventually they will determine your success. I like to know all the existing limitations and try to bend them to my advantage in order to reach goals, both personal and professional. I base decisions on data rather than feelings, but love it when feelings turn out to be right based on data. Hate requests that start with: “I think” or “he said” and love solving complicated situations by coming up with working solutions.

As a Product Owner at Emesa I started being responsible for development and conversion optimization of ActievandeDag (.nl and .be) working with a small scrum team using data, user feedback and A/B-testing as a basis for decision-making and optimizing development of the product, keeping both customer and business objectives in mind every step of the way.
Among other things, we created an order management system from the ground up for both hotel bookings and physical products and a complete new, fully responsive frontend including all email design, customer flows, and campaigns, increasing (mobile) conversion significantly.
In Januari 2017 my focus shifted more towards Vakantieveilingen (.nl and .be) and VavaBid (.be and .fr), becoming also responsible for fulfillment development for all Emesa labels. Introducing RMA automation, international fulfillment and Pickup Points, working closely together with Montapacking.
As of November 2017 my responsibilities shifted completely to VakantieVeilingen and VavaBid, becoming responsible for the auction platform backend and the new ERP team. Currently focused on introducing a customised ERP system for all labels, using Odoo (Open ERP). Main focus lies on CRM, Purchase, inventory management through a new warehouse integration and finance automation.
